By popular demand, here are the pics

http://www.flickr.com/photos/8619486...7633425405068/

note: I did not take pics of the MLV and thinsulate install into the foldable back seat. Those clips pull straight up. and the rest is straight forward.

cheers.

You're confusing pleasing engine and exhaust noise with obnoxious road noise.

You should consider doing the rear quarter panels. Doors and rear quarter panels are probably the critical spots for road noise; I believe the trunk will reduce exhaust noise (I've done mine because my aftermarket exhaust was slightly too loud for normal driving for me).

Plugging the 'noise tube' will also result in a much quieter cabin (quieter meaning less exhaust noise, not less road noise). I made a plug out of some solid PVC tubing. When I want a quiet ride I just loosen the hose clamp on the noise tube, insert the plug, and tighten the clamp. It's especially good for long rides when you would rather hear the radio than the exhaust rumbling.

not my picture, but this is one way of doing it. I leave the sound tube attached even with the plug in just because the engine bay looks more complete to me that way.

I think my Injen does that automatically. The one in the engine bay where the stock intake feeds the tube into a random thing right?

edit: yeah that's the one
