This is great news. More interesting cars are being made. Maybe this will be a new 240Z type. Light and sporty.

Under the hood, Palmer mentions that the car will be "guilt-free.” What could be guiltier for a vehicle than polluting the environment? So, expect either an electric or a hybrid powertrain, though we have our bets placed on a hybrid system.
What guilt? I drive a 300bhp Skyline without a Kat!

Please nissan not another hippie mobiel, give us a new Silvia!

Doubt it will be a hybrid if it is meant to be below the Z cars in terms of pricing. Sounds more to me like they will be looking for a smaller displacement, like a 1.8.

I don't, wait all you want suckers. if you all thought the twins were full of unforeseen problems - imagine what a car that's been rushed thru production as not to get left behind would offer you.

plus, probably 3 years away at the very least.

This car was announced at the Sao Paulo auto show in Brazil in October of 2012. Maybe it will pull design cues come this? When this car was announced, it was supposedly only for South America.

From what I'm reading. It's going to be a Honda CRZ competitor.

So, in other words, another turd car.

With an icon like the 240z and the Datsun Roadsters in their past, why not pay tribute to that level of awesome old school cool? Oh well. We have an FRS or a BRZ in our garages. Less competition for us! LOL.

They took everything about a sports car, and canned it. Now their trying to market the fatty bits nobody wants.
