haha, i'm not a huge fan of it. i need to contact nameless about one of their replacements to see how that works, and if i can't find someone to fab up a heat shield, then i'm gonna work on figuring it out myself.

Correct, Also the coating allows for a higher rpm ceiling as well, higher boost pulleys can be run on it. The Sprintex R&D car is running 14PSI currently, it's a great drive

Will the 210 be upgradeable or will we have to buy a whole new SC unit?

Based on calls I've made about this and my own research on swapping out the 210 for the 335, only the drive snout and the rear elbow needs to be pulled off once the blower has been unbolted from the manifold. I would imagine that with the 210+ likely being the same dimensions as the 210, this should also be a simple swap. Now, what innovate and/or sprintex decide from a business perspective, I don't know.

I have tried finding a real answer, but with 200+ pages and google coming up with no results, I figured I would just ask.

How is the Innovate intercooled kit for hot climates both tracking and daily driving? I haven't tracked the car yet but plan on it. I live in sunny southwest Florida, and let me tell you, it gets hot here in the summer. My car is a daily driver and since I am a sales rep, I drive a ton. I like the idea of this kit, but I keep feeling like it will heat soak. Opinions?

If you want, I can take a look at your engine bay and come up with something. I love working with metal.

Get an oil cooler. If you have a header, keep the hot air from getting to the intake pipe.

Judging from the conversations I've had with Mark from Sprintex it we will have to replace the whole S/C hub, louvers, gears, pulley and casing

But that's sprintex, what Innovate decide to do for the US market is beyond me.

I know Ian oil cooler is a must for any FI application. What I am more concerned with is the water/air intercooler heat soaking either in traffic or after a few laps on a track in the he florida heat causing the IAT's to raise significantly and cause detonation. Every review I read are from people loving up north complaining about 80's being hot, lol...

Delicious has said that the IC is pretty much essential for hot climates. The way I see it, no matter how hot the IC system gets, it'll still be cooler than what's coming out of those screws.

That's interesting. None of it makes any sense. Not calling you out, just interesting that they would tell you that. I've spoken to a few sources and the swap, outside of the official channels, with the 335 for example is supposed to be a simple affair.

What really makes me doubt their answer is why the pulley has to be replaced. No logic to that at all. The Sprintex pulleys are interchangeable, even amongst different applications. That is how I found a 64mm pulley, at the smallest.

Not sure how it doesn't make sense since i described the bit outlined in red in the below picture, all the parts mentioned are contained within the supercharger itself. I did mean Pulley hub not the pulley itself my mistake.
Basically that's how Sprintex will be selling the upgrade to the customer as a complete unit, unbolt the old 210 from the manifold and elbow at the back and slap on the 210+ total cost $2100 Australian, the pricing for it is on their website.

Like i said no idea how innovate would handle the upgrade to you in the USA as this only reflects buying from Sprintex directly.
