Have you tried it with and without the dbox?

I've noticed it every once in a while with the DT tune, even before the Dbox was installed. Didn't get it with the CARB tune even with the dbox.

The sputtering has only occurred with the D-box installed. Prior to the D-box, I ran a Delicious tune with no abnormalities during startup.

I will attempt to get a video posted of the issue.

Let me know if you're interested in a D-box.

Maybe, but not for a while...

Any idea if a cat back exhaust adds much (if any) power to our Edelbrock charged cars?

Did some searching and didn't find anything...

Not huge gains but some to be found. The biggest gains seen are replacing the header and front pipe to free exhaust flow.

^this. Gains from a good header like an Ace are usually on the top end where the curve starts to drop off.

Out of curiosity, those of you with CBE's... Is it louder with the supercharger? I'm considering the Perrin or the Q300 as I want something quiet with a slight bit more at WOT, and and think I prefer the Perrin unit but am afraid it'll be too loud.

The Ace headers are works of art, unfortunately they're priced like fine art.

I started with a nameless mid pipe and a milltek resonated cat back before getting the SC and I don't think it sounds any different.

Car seemed to like 16oz of Torco Accelerator to 10 gallons of 91, IAM stayed at 1.

Trying 8oz to 11 gallons this time.

Hey guys I noticed something recently with my edelbrock.
I'm on an automatic car and when I am just driving like normal and the car is cruising at like below 2k RPM I notice that sometimes randomly the RPM drop and increase about 1-2hundred rapidly and the car jolts back and forward. Usually does that for like 5 seconds and then stops.

I checked the hoses and everything looks like it is tight and clamped down. I never noticed the car doing that before.

I've been curious about this as well, I've used these on my bike but never on a car. Interested in your impressions.

First, I have a manual, so not totally comparable. Also, my set-up is very basic, which consists of mostly stock items, with Continental DWS tires and the Edelbrock Supercharger with CARB Tune.

Running in this configuration, I have had issues with a fluctuating idle since the supercharger was installed back in March. Also, when I accelerated away in first, I felt like I had to give a little extra gas to prevent bogging down and then release slightly for a split second and then get back on it again, which took a while for me to get used to.

Of course, like others, I wondered if this was a vacuum leak or a characteristic of the CARB tune. I probably should mention that I am using Shell 93 octane gas.

Recently, Neal at The Racers Line suggested I consider the Delicious tune. The first version (21.0) has completely eradicated the idle issue and the bogging down, so I assume that means the CARB tune was the issue.

I am going through fine tuning now to get it as good as we can, but even the basic Delicious tune solved my issues.

I am not saying this is a solution for those who see the idle fluctuation problems, but it worked for me. Also, I wonder if Edelbrock need to look into this a little more closely. Maybe, there are some cars out there where the CARB tune has it's issues, but not with others, which feedback from owners would suggest.
