I’ll get some when it’s back from the shop; having fire system installed.

Did you add some kind of fastener to hold the ends of your bumper on (along the top)? The molded tabs are not super-strong...

Yes, it is a kit I got from FT86 Speed Factory

The Kosei are nice because they have less offset so fronts didn’t rub the brake ducts. Not a problem anymore since the SPL Front LCAs have much more open space to run the duct hose inboard so even the 245s on 9” wheels clear.

May I ask that how is the fitment of Recaro SPG XL in twins? Which seat rail and base do you use? I have sat in one and it is perfect for my body size. However, after looking at the dimensions of SPG XL I'm not so sure if it can fit in our cars easily. I don't have the tools and ability to do custom fab.

There is plenty of room for these seats. Used the mounts from Recaro.

Pete,
Did you say you ran ran the Recaro speedster seat in this car? Was it the CS? I am curious a review of that seat from a lateral movement perspective vs stock. I am considering that seat since it can retain the seat heater functionality.

Any reason for upgrading the rear trailing bar?

Nice neat build!

I have a speedster CS in my car. Unless you are shorter than 180cm or have a short torso and long leg. You would need to custom brackets to give you head clearance. I tried Planted base with rail and Bride FO rail. Both of them put the seat higher than stock. By the way you can't mount the seat on Planted base without rail because there are stick out pieces under the seat. Support is definitely way better than the stock one. It is also one of the best looking seat on market.

Thanks for the information. Have you done any track driving with it? If so do you still need to use your knee to brace yourself?

No, I haven’t got a chance to take it to the track. I wouldn't be too positive on this though. It is more like a high performance luxury seat than a reclining bucket seat. You should consider Bride Gias if you want side support.
