I was able to program the cluster with techstream on my own. It's quick and easy. Took a few seconds once I found what menu it was under. I'll get a video of where it is at when I can get some time in the car.

and will do! Trying to decide if I buy it before the car goes down, or send you the cluster (for mileage change) while the car is down for the clutch job and just have you ship it back with the cluster.

So you were avle to just install dsh into key stsrt car to test, ie daie dash worked but car would not start with new dash. Then put old dash back and start ok ?.

Did resync with new dash work with techstream and car starts ok, without external techstream access ?

Yes. I actually set my needles correctly before I had the dash programmed to the car. Took them off so I could make them clear and used the test mode to set the needle position at 1k RPM and set the needle on. Same for speedometer needle.

If i ever figure out to decrypt those saved files i can see if i can change it.

FANTASTIC! so with techstream its easy to program the cluster to the BCM. A video would be fantastic to find out how exactly its done.

Its up to you! And were would you want to add the joystick? to the center TC buttons or the keycap?

LOVE the LED change BTW!

If there is anything I can do to help let me know. Might be fun to take a look at it see what I can come up with.

Video has been posted, depending on your browser you may need to un-block it.

pardon if I am not understanding this all straight...electronics are not my forte...
with Techstream - does that allow you to adjust the mileage on the cluster as well? Or is this only for 'unlocking' the keyed cars? I have a 2017 cluster from a part out that my husband is installing in my 2013 with push button start.

Just for “unlocking” on key cars. You need to take it to a dealer willing to do it, or wait for geraldjust to start offering his mileage service (if he even plans on it).

Just curious, what sort of prices have people been paying for these clusters?
