Elliot's tS build
Hey all,
As some of you may know I recently totaled my Series yellow. Here's a link to my old journal for those interested: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122047 But life moves on. I was able to take most of my mods off which was awesome. I ended up with a World Rally Blue tS. I have similar plans for this car as I did for the Series Yellow. I am going to be installing my old mods onto the new tS. I plan on redoing my google sheet for the new car so people can see what mods I end up doing and the associated cost. Also the car will be seeing a lot of track time. Instagram:instgram Give me a follow! Portland pick up Any one know the model of the Subaru parked behind me? Nice! The tS looks pretty slick. Can't wait to see it at a gymkhana event!
Edit: I can't read |

Nice! Back in the saddle. Were you able to sell your old car? Did insurance help you out?

Reinstalled 4 mods onto the new car tonight after work. It's funny how much easier the mods are to install the second time around.
Tonight I installed

So awesome man! Glad to see your back in the saddle. That tS is a straight stunner and absolutely a beaut! Talk about a smoking deal too. You practically stole it. I bet you're super happy. How are you liking the differences compared to your Series.Yellow? Any noticeable differences you can share? Congrats again buddy!

Were you going to add coilovers or swap for different springs? It's a shame the Pinks the tS comes with doesn't drop it lower. 20mm would have been perfect

I am just going to run a taller tire. the wheel gap wont be perfect but it will fill it to acceptable levels. I'm considering selling these tires but that makes no sense at all. I just wish I woulda gone 235/45/17 instead of 235/40/17

Well to both @weederr33 and @Elliotw you can achieve 5 more mm through the JDM pinks that drop it 15mm instead of the 10mm that the USDM does. And for the 20mm suggestion, get the 15mm drop through the JDM pinks and then fill the other 5mm in artificially though the TRD fender extensions... Oh crap... did I just spill my master plan for my build??? HAHA
