I had a tough time keeping the area dry of oil when I repaired mine. Kept getting wet every time I dried it up with a paper towel. Finally I solved that by just putting the rear of the car up on jackstands. Ha.

How widespread is this problem?
Besides the foul smell, how would you know you had a problem? Many owners complained of a foul smell coming from the car and blaming it on the "break in". I'm wondering if this is the culprit? |

Short video of install. No leaks yet, used Hondabond instead of permatex.

Our latest production run is being anodized now. I'm hoping to have them back in stock by early next week.

My 2014 did it from 300 miles! Tied 2 different sealants and it still leaked. This plate fixed it 100 percent.
