Basically I was told it would have no effect on the performance of the car but it would make it such that I could never get WMI, a boost gauge, or basically anything that ever needs to read vacuum and hence boost levels.

All that is in the past now! Hopefully when they get my BOV back they will be able to see what went wrong and prevent others from having that issue.

As for the exhaust leak I'm sure plenty of you guys know about that one...
Ok, thanks for sharing!!

I guess learning to drive M/T on this car has finally taken it's toll. My clutch has started slipping in the higher gears when I hit boost. I know the folks at PTuning have really liked the Exedy clutch they use on their car. Any other recommendations for a daily driver?

The FX 300 is stiffer than stock, but its drivable IMHO.

How much stiffer and how often do you do squats?

Hahaha, I'm badly out of shape right now.

You will notice the stiffness, that is for sure. The thing I can tell you, is that after racing the car at the track Saturday, it didn't feel stiff anymore at all. It became normal, and it holds whatever you throw at it.

Bob @Drift-Office has been on our organic clutch kit for a while, you can ask him how he feels about it. He's running it on his avo turbocharged car which is pushing out 245+ ft/lbs of torque. It's very daily driver friendly, plus can take the abuse that's being thrown at it!

I REALLY liked the feel of this clutch when I drove Bob's car. Felt more responsive and stronger than stock clutch, yet friendly to drive as Paul says. Better get one for a spare.

More, but that's semantics! That said, I do like the organic feel much better, and it holds the power plenty fine. We'll be taking the AVO kit up a notch (yet again) after I get done with (yet another round) of all these test drives I've been scheduling and as always, I'm sure there won't be a single issue.

I do like the orange pressure plate too, if that helps with your purchase decision!

Cheers!

I got it from MFB, the AVO distributor in the Philippines. It took almost 2 months but it's worth it.

The AVO organic clutch started slipping on me within 1 week of 'stage 3'.
