Who's tired of the "Pedal Dance" and wants to be in real control of their car?

So for those of us who track our car's a lot and start pushing the limits with tires and brakes have found out traction may be off on the dash but not inside the brains of the car holding you and your times back.

When Autocrossing who has hit the first turn to realize you forgot to turn the darn traction control off and have now just thrown away a very important run? I know I have....

Anyway this neat little box plugs into the ODBII port and disables the Traction/VSC completely. Leave it installed full time for the trailer queen race car, or plug in at the beginning of your fun filled day at the track or autocross.

The 86 Traction / VSC Eliminator for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT86 is the perfect track accessory. This will fully disable traction and VSC without having to do the famous pedal dance.

This device AUTOMATICALLY places your vehicle into the famed "Pedal Dance" mode (without any dancing required). In this mode both Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control are fully disabled.

The device plugs into the ODB II port.

To engage the vehicle needs to be stopped and the RPM at normal idle (not warming up) to dis-engage the VSC/TRAC.

When the ignition is off the device draws minimal power and can be left in place.

Not a bad price. I'll have to invest in this product for my first track day

Meh. So much data acquisition is based on OBD input (see data log question above). If this had a pass-through I might jump on it. Even better if it allowed my OBD reader to be hooked up and was a right angle pass though (the BRZ OBD port isn't in a very good spot).

I agree data logging parameters is important but you shouldn't need that every single event/session especially when time matters.

All tuning and everything else should be long sorted out before your important runs or session is made.

Uhhh, say what? So this isn't a useful tool unless you're already as good as you can get? I mean, I think it's pretty slick but that's a bit of a stretch.

I wonder of it could share the bus though... Y cable?

The elimination of datalogging makes this completely useless to any serious trackday or autocross enthusiast...

Does it eliminate the e-diff and EBD as well?

Most datalogging systems are not compatible with a Y splitter.

Figured. I think just a bit more wait then... I still think the product is cool, just not for the serious enthusiast as you say...

This should be able to be configured with a pass through function.

Can this be brought up with the manufacturer?

Furthermore, can this be built into the ecutek software?
