Read you contract closely. I bet there is a "some items may be different from described" clause or something similar there someplace. That is the risk that is taken when ordering something before anybody has had one delivered. Who knows though maybe the rest will have black and that one was just a screw up on the line. Believe me it happens more than you would want to know.

I do wonder what Subaru would do if someone makes a big enough stink about this since it does clearly say they are black many places on their website.
They would say "OK don't take the car then we will sell it to somebody else". You can bet that they have an adequate legal department to deal with such things.

To me they look the same shade of gray as the ones shown in the R&T First Drive back in November.

I ordered white with PP and was happy to see black wheels come in the package. But after seeing the DGM with the gunmetal wheels, it matches much better. Meh, I didnt get the PP for the wheels alone. Im still stoked!

If I'm honest, I'm not even that big a fan of the rim design on the PP

I'd like them a lot more if they were 17x8.

They are. The R&T test drive was done in Japan with a JDM (the real meaning) car that was always said to have the gunmetal wheels.

I have to agree. I liked them at first but the more pics I see the less I like them. They are nice for showing off those calipers though.

Yep. They picked the best angles to show them off in pictures

OK, that gunmetal color is awesome. I'm sooo glad they are not black.

Now, who wants to sell me their wheels?

The gunmetal on the WRB looks fantastic. Had I known the wheels were gunmetal instead of black I would have gotten the WRB instead of the CWP but ohhh well, plastidip is cheap. I'll drive on the gunmetal for a couple of months to see if it grows on me

Just got a text from my salesman that the dealer has ordered my Yellow and it will be included in their February allocation! I will go speak with him in person after work to get more details.

Did you ask what color wheels it has?

Salesman won't have a clue and will just say whatever is on the data sheet (which says black).
