NorCal's 86Cup mod calculator. Working and will send you your mod list, but of course you want to register with NCRC with it.

http://www.chronoseries.com/classer.php?car=ft86

Disclaimer: NorCal will run 3 classes only (Stock, Street, and Unlimited). Anything past 4.1 points is Unlimited - this applies to Norcal ONLY. Anyone with 4.1+ points is usually FI'ed at this point and will be distinguished (as what FI) thru the results page, will post after each event.

SoCal runs 4 classes (Stock, Street, Limited, Modified). See their point breakup http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80202

As for the MRLS weekend when we combine both Cups, Mike and I are arm wrestling on who's points-system we should adhere to haha lol

Great luck to everyone in 2015!
looks like i'm stuck at 4.5pts if i stick with 255s and i put on my new lip. would i be put into unlimited without FI?

Yes, class is entirely point dependant. They will just be making a note of which cars are FI vs NA so we can all see the difference/similarities in track results.

Yes, that's correct. Your NA will be classified as such while the FI will be differentiated. It's 2 heavily-participated classes (Street and Modified) instead of 3. Now if we can just have Stock classes stay Stock

NorCal,

NCRC has posted their 2015 schedule:

Everyone has made 2014 season awesome! From the first event with Plato and others to the most recent weekend event at Thill with everyone, it's been one hell of a year. Let's go one more time to finish off 2014 at the world famous Laguna Seca!! I know people are preparing for LS's selfish 90 db but to be honest, I think being out there with you guys will make it that much more memorable, 90 db or not.

If you are new and you plan and/or could join us in any of the 86Cup in 2015, PM your information so I can get you registered early with NCRC. It should make future registering easier and faster.

As for the existing guys, I'll post here with any new relevant information ie. transponder agreement/timing, etc.

Here's the breakdown of tracks days with NCRC: TBD...
LS --> 11 days
Thill --> 12 days
BW --> 4 days

What do you think of these dates????
CHRONO DATES for 2015:
Sat Mar 21 Thunderhill
Sun Mar 22 Thunderhill
Mon June 1st Laguna Seca
Sat June 27 Buttonwillow
Sun June 28 Buttonwillow
Sat Aug 8 Thunderhill
Sun Aug 9 Thunderhill
Saturday, November 28th Laguna Seca
Saturday, December 12th Laguna Seca
Sunday, December 13th Laguna Seca

Ending thoughts:
  • EQ Tuning's very own Chris won a free track with NCRC. I hope he may use it when the 86Cup is in town.
    Plato gets a nice BDay gift from local comrades of a paid track day. I think he's going to use for 12/27 86Cup @ MRLS.
    Solo drivers are practicing more and more for their chance to move up to PointBy. Should have plenty of room as 2 have moved up to Open. Congrats to all participants!
IS this finalized??

What are the exhaust setup that passes the 90db limit? Does a setup similar to JDL UEL header, Perrin OP, catted FP, and Perrin resonated CBE pass?
