In 2006 there were 10,831 'limited edition' chargers made, 4,295 of which were yellow.

From 2006-2015 there were a total of 71,768 'limited edition' chargers produced...

There are 500 series.yellows in the US and 50 in Canada. And every previous 'series' were 1,000 plus cars. It's a little different...

Its a Subaru. Yes the Japanese market for classics is coming up, but these are not collectible. Does not mean the cars not worth the premium, as they are pretty sweet. Remember demand is low for these cars, demand will be low in the classic market as well, many years from now.

I'll do the Series. Yellow, some dealers haven't got them yet but I could complete it beginning of March if I was motivated lol.
So, would there be any way to motivate you, say with cookies and/or PayPal? I'm planning a custom project, and I would require my production number for it!

I'm gonna get to it because I'm curious to know the color distribution of the BRZ tS so it wouldnt make sense to leave out the series.yellow!

to help me start, can you guys throw out the last 4 digits of your VIN? because the series.yellow production starts in the middle of the 2017 production run, i dont know where to begin the VIN search haha. If about 10-15 I should have a good idea where to begin.

People that have given last 4 digits of VIN:

Ghost of Akita: ................ 1662
The359: ......................... 1299
EthirtyPDX: .................... 1753
Misfire: .......................... 1109
TachyonBomb: ............... 1666

People That have only given last 3 digits of VIN:

*Name:......(Last 3 given).....(Last 4 if we assume 1 is in front of last 3 digits)*

Ranatsu: ...................... X225 .......... 1225
BRZ FTW: .................... X236 .......... 1236
artongdou: .................. X261 .......... 1261
Azzudien: .................... X966 .......... 1966
allegiance2me: ............ X228 .......... 1228
iluvdrt: ....................... X056 .......... 1056

Veloist,

If you assume that the people who have responded with the last digits of their VIN have the number one preceding those last 3 digits then you will have a sample size of (11). Some where there is another thread asking for series yellow VINs which contains a few more but I'm not really trying to look all that up at the moment.

I'm 601408

Digits 12 - 17 of a North American VIN pertain to the production number of the car.

1106 was the earliest I found with a production date of 11/22/2016. Recorded about 50 today so I am 10% done. I think I’ll be able to finish it rather soon.

Also there are still about 9 unsold/untitled Series.Yellows
