I don't have a picture but when I was moving 2 months ago I was able to fit a 42" flat screen into the back with the seats folded down. I was shocked

I dont know why she got in there. I was at a buddys house and we were upstairs playing pool when my wife and his (shes the one in the trunk) were outside doing this.

We were all pretty toasted so maybe that also had something to do with it. LOL

The dealership guy was quiet the whole time. He looked like he was horrified about us checking a car. Felt like I was in a ferrari salon in dirty ghetto cloths or something. What the hell??? I could tell the guy wants as to go. Even that we drove there with two scions. one being an RS7!... whatever.
I'd try to open the car's trunk with the key, on the left of the trunk there's a little button or switch that can cancel the auto open. Probably for safety reasons.

See if you can manipulate the switch then check the auto trunk lock/unlock and see if it works.

Actually its the Valet lock, but most likely that is the problem.

Appreciate it -- didn't think that would need a valet lock since there's a valet key. I figure that was there so that you don't accidentally hold onto the trunk button and poof -- all your stuff flies out the trunk as you drive off.

On another note: the trunk is freaking small!!!

With the valet key you could still push the lock on the inside and open the trunk I believe. I'm guessing the convertible won't have the inside button.

I am sure the conversation went something like this:
  • Mrs tennisfreak: "The trunk thread on FT86Club needs more photos. Get in!"
  • Mrs buddyswife: "Okay, hold my drink."

What's the longest flat box that can fit, from trunk edge inside to front passenger seat pushed all the way up? I can't measure right now and am debating on buying something from Ikea.
