I detect a note of condescension in your reply. Your point of the ride height being determined by the springs and/or coilovers is logical. However, Whitelines web page on their bushing discusses ride quality, not the ride height.

Not that fast actually, 32kmh. It was a red light camera.
A van turned right on a red without stopping as the light turned yellow.

My mistake for not stopping, but if a cop saw it the van driver would have been ticketed.

That brings to mind my first "photo ticket". It was in Germany in 1966 when I received this letter in the mail with a picture of the back of my VW showing my military USA plate. Also there was a picture of a speed limit sign and a picture of a readout showing a speed in kph.

Since it was written in German, I took it over to my landlords daughter for translation. She said that I just got a speeding ticket. I asked her, how do they do that? She said they sit in vans and take pictures out the back window. They really like "USA" plates.

Needless to say I was paranoid about driving over the speed limit the rest of my tour.

Was sent the wrong front rotors so had to swap back to the oem front rotors. I ran the small ones for like a day before I realized the wear marks looked funky. In my defense it was my first time doing brakes and I assumed the seller had the decency to send me the correct stuff. Learned a lesson anyway.

Shit happens. Sometimes the wrong stuff gets sent. It's how things are dealt with over the problem is discovered that will tell you how decent the seller is

Nevertheless, this sliding armrest is also useful for hiding items in the center console. If you liked it, I would suggest, just install it for completeness.
If I went farther back the clutch would be kind of a stretch, but it might not be a bad idea to just get it for completeness, like you said. I could use it to cover my phone at least.

I didn't feel like dishing out $40+ for pre-painted emblems, so today I painted my stock emblems to match my headlights. I think they came out alright considering it didn't cost me anything.

Front emblem

Fender badge

Couldn't get pics of the rear since my garage door was in the way, so you'll just have to take my word for it that they're black too. Next project: tint the tail lights red.

I checked on my headlights after leaving the car in the rain yesterday and there was no condensation, so I guess I got a good seal on them. Question for others who painted their headlight bezels: did you clear coat them at all?

@Face_Plant - Looks great, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get the diffuser from? I haven't seen one for $60.

As the person above me mentioned, I got it from eBay. They had cheaper ones, but I chose the $60 one because the seller had better feedback and so I wouldn't be getting the absolute "bottom of the barrel" piece, although I'm sure they're all pretty much the same.

Thanks, that makes sense, I don't need it to be super cheap but like you said, it doesn't make sense to spend $700 either.

@Leonardo - thanks for the link. I'll look for something similar on eBay.

And for less than that price you can buy something that will actually work.
