The write up calls them "special edition black rims"

Dudes, mine is a 2016 gt86 that i bought in september, and all of this already comes in the car....there's nothing new there.... The only thing that will change is the front and rear bumpers as per 2017 model.

That is the difference between a GT 86 and a FRS. Those things do not come standard on an FRS the only way you can get them is a special edition.

Except the brown stuff in the interior with the white stiching. That's oh so special.

Do you have any good sources for this? (no Australian blogs, please)

The front spoiler and dashboard are interesting.

P.S. I can understand the blunder with the first radio but why does Scion keep changing it every year?

Well they gotta change something to say "new and improved".

I've read the Subaru rear diffuser doesn't quite match the FR-S's rear (not sure if it's true as it's ridiculously overpriced especially compare to the copies on eBay -but then again maybe you get what you pay for as most of them on eBay don't come with instructions on how to install it). Since the RS2.0 has a diffuser maybe it'll look better or cheaper (may have to find a corresponding VIN # if the dealer is being a pain)?

Front spoiler thankfully looks plug and play as well. Owners of normal FR-Ss now have a choice of additional OEM parts to tweak their cars (I wonder if owners of 10 Series/RS1.0/Monograms are wondering to keep their cars pristine or go for the cool improved parts?)

Doesn't look like it has a rear diffuser...

I'm keeping my rs1 stock. There's no need to "improve" anything on the factory aero kit. Its great as it is. Doing anything to it would devalue it and potentially make it look terrible.
