IMO, it's too soon in the beta to take it lapping. I would at least wait for the first round of testers to send back feedback and logs.

Hey...so...question. I am uploading files to my OFT right now and it says my cal is B00C but the files on it in the "Upload Data" page are all titled B01C (these were the autogenerated files from the OFT). So, for the beta, do I use B00C or B01C?

I may have answered my own question...When I select the B01C file inside OFM I get an error "The selected file is not compliant" so I'm guessing that means the B00C file is correct and it just internally names everything B01C as that's the latest rev of the base ROM on which everything is based? Looking for some confirmation so I don't blow my car up

you won't blow up your car loading any calid from 700C 900C A00C A01C B00C or B01C as they are all compatible for USA Manual cars.

OFT just "makes" you to your original calid as stored in the OFT for safety so you don't load say a D series for a auto in a manual (or an overseas rom that metric) and as part of their procedure to stop your OFT being used on multiple cars at once.

Just load the calid as per what your original ROM is as I understand it it will be the same ROM anyway just the internal calid will be changed to match the original. ie even A guy on 700C will effectively load same ROM with calid changed internally to 700C

From what shiv said, E85 maps have barely been modified, so you should not expect any gain.

Why aren't you planning to do E85 Stage 1 maps? I know that stage 2 are somewhat compatible with a non modified Header, but it still makes me worried to have this compromise.

Hopefully E85 tune improves cold weather starting. I've had some cold winter mornings in Sydney.

They can only test what they have available to them in house. I'm sure if someone with a Stage 1 configuration showed up on E85 they'd be more than happy to generate a specific tune file. Just sayin...

I've only dyno tested Stage 1 v1.6 and it made a 5-6whp more than Stage 1 v1.69. Drove smoother and was a bit more refined as well. Less induction noise at WOT in the 2500-3000rpm range too.

If you look at the differences between stage1 and 2 gas maps they add some extra fuel and a bit more timing ie as a result of headers.

Their wont be any problem with the extra timing advance on E85 as it has more than enough octane rating for na cars even at about E50 so having a car without catless headers will be fine on an E85 tune. As for the fueling it will be adjusted by the fuel trims which it already doing to compensate for the differing e% of the various e85 mix,s. According to Shiv its godd for e60 to E85 so the slight fueling difference required for headers or no headers will be taken care of. So basicly I dont believe it would not rearly need any further adjustment.
Plenty of people on the e85 tune with stock cars
