Races are won (and lost) on T1. That's the fastest portion of LS.

Can you get airborn yet on T1 @mkivsoopra???

Thanks for coming out to 86DRIVE Challenge, Round 2, at Thunderhill Raceway! We had a huge turnout with many new faces, GTRadial SX2 well represented, and cool and sunny weather. What more can we ask for!? This season is off to an awesome start, and I want to share some numbers before we get to the results. We had...

-26 total drivers with 86DRIVE Challenge!
-20 of you guys on GTRadial SX2!
-5 drivers in GTRadial Stock class (this unlocks the $ prize for the season)
-Debut of Sport Class!

Competition is fierce now, as you'll see in the results. In GTRadial Street class, 0.159 seconds separate first and second place, and in Unlimited class, 0.027 seconds separate first and second place!

Big thanks to our sponsors, GT Radial USA, Winmax USA, Elite Performance, The Racers Line, Bluemoon Performance, Inc., and Verus Engineering for making this all possible!

Also big thanks to Speed SF Track Events and Patrick Chio for hosting, helping with the registration logistics, and providing the transponders this time. Certainly made my life easier!

We're off to a good start, so let's keep the momentum going. The next event is on April 28, at Thunderhill West again. Please register early to make sure you get a spot! https://www.speedsf.com/even…/…/4/28...ll-west-2-mile

Be sure to checkout the photos posted by SpeedSF and Scott Grasso in our Facebook group, too! https://www.facebook.com/groups/86drivechallenge

Note that Jason's time in GTRadial Street class is not being counted, because he's still waiting for his SX2 tires. He'll join us in the Cash prize and contingency programs when he gets the tires.

As usual, full results are available on our website: http://www.86drivechallenge.com/#results

I noticed that some groups in the 4/28 Thill track day are sold out, do I need to register through speedsf or is there a dedicated registration?

Speed SF is the organizer so you register through them. If it's sold out then it's sold out. You can still register to be on the waitlist however.

Keep an eye on the Speed SF Facebook page to see if anyone is selling a spot. Or email them to find out how many people are on the waiting list.
