OpenFlash Tablet v1.55b: BIN files added!

Hi @shiv@vishnu

I flashes my 86 with the stage 2 uel tune couple of days ago, and today I the CEL with the P0420 code

My mods are Revworks uel, perrin overpipe, perrin filter and inlet tube.

I know the code Is the cat inefficient one but I thought that was disabled in the stage 2's?

Are you running both oxygen sensors? If not, you need to run them both. I run the Revolution header which came with just 1 o2 fitting. I installed another fitting and have been running Stage 2 EL for few months with no issues.

Yeah I'm using both. Revworks comes with both fittings

I think you have a Leak, I remember shiv re-enabled the o2sensor cel to warn if there was a leak in the exhaust.

Take it with a grain of salt because I'm not 100% sure of what I'm Talking about.

Oh really? I will definitely have a look at that. Would that be a leak at the sensor or elsewhere?

elsewhere, I remember shiv talking about re-enabling the sensor so we could know when we had a leak or not.

BUT I'm not that sure. Just PM him or wait for a reply here.

If you open you tune file in RomRaider and go to the DTC/CEL tables you should be able to see that code, obviously is enabled at present but you could disable it if required.

The leak theory sound good, did you use new gaskets ??

Actually you only need a O2 bung on the 2nd O2 sensor, which is primilarily used to detect if the first cat is present. I've been running my catless EL header with a built in O2 bung on 2nd O2 sensor and so far it only once did the CEL came up.

Hey @shiv@vishnu can you let me know what you think of my data log?
This is the stg2 UEL 1.55b tune w/ OFH and 2.75" header back. I feel like there might be a leak somewhere since I reused gaskets but not sure if you can tell through reading datalogs...

http://datazap.me/u/rhythmm/oftstg23rdgearpull03032014

edit: Forgot to mention I already put on about 230 miles after flashing the ECU with the stg2 tune and installing the OFHeader.

Looks pretty darn perfect. Full timing. No knock. Good AFR. But if you re-used gaskets, I would HIGHLY suggest replacing them immediately. If they don't leak now, they will leak soon in my experience. And when they do, it will cause all sorts of fueling issues.

Speaking of gaskets, there appears to be a rough side and a smooth side. Are they directional?

Thanks for the input!! I thought reusing the gaskets would be okay because the car only had about 2500 miles on it. I get some news soon then.

Hey @shiv@vishnu Are you going to start a thread for the 1.56b version or use this existing 1.55b thread?
