The twins are in DS, if you're in CS (I think the ts and TRD are the only CS orphans) you are already in the wrong class.

You won't be competitive for your first 2 years (at least) anyway, but the twins are not competitive in CS regardless.
If he has the performance package (Brembo + shocks + 7.5" wheels), then he's in CS.

This may have been said already but imo it's not fair that the PP and tS got pushed into CS where they aren't that competitive. The new ND may not get bumped (my assumption).

I'd like to hear how others are setting up the tS for CS.

I'm thinking Whiteline 22mm front bar, starting with the softer setting.

How do Konis compare to the SACHS dampers? (MCS is kinda pricey.)

I'm going to be doing the Whiteline adjustable 22mm front bar, K&N air filter, and hopefully the Tomei 60R exhaust to reduce the weight. I'll run the stock tires/wheels for now until I can get a second set of lightweight wheels with tires for the TS.

Well I just got informed of the most recent fast track for DS and I'm glad I'm not there, lol.

They moved all the "rally" cars into DS.

Wow, Focus RS to DS!

All of the second tier RWD cars like the turbo 4 mustang and camaro moving out of FS to DS was a great thing, but now throwing the BS cars into DS just screws it up again. I think they need to have a dedicated AWD class and stop tayloring 2 classes to various miatas.

Besides the TTS I don't think there are any former BS cars that would upset current balance.

I think leaving the RX8 out is a good move. The more that I see Kenton Koch run his car at locals at zMax, the more I wonder how buried those cars actually are in CS.

I'm re-TRDing my car and coming back to CS in 2019. I may not do that many/any national events with it, but it was more fun with TRD stuff than DS, so I'll pad my local CS numbers and try to knock off a Miata or two in the process.

I do, they've been sitting in my basement ready for action again. Thanks.

It will most likely stay in CS because there is really nowhere for it to move up to. All the pre 2019 ND drivers are gonna be pissed. The PP/ts/TRD twins got screwed because they were not happy about the TRD kit, and are determined to protect the base twins.

I do think we have to recognize that they did create the ultimate "fair" class with SSC, and it really shuts up all the twin drivers that complain about classing. The SSC parts barely cost more than the TRD kit and make for a much better overall car that is also a better track day car.

But SSC only applies up to 2016 MY... or is that going to change?
