the MV Agusta F3 revealed!

I know this is usually car talk but I love motorcycles, especially Italian ones just as much as you guys love the AE86!

This is definitely going to change the middleweight class and very excited to see MV introduce a triple! It was revealed at the EICMA show and looks very tiny, smaller than the current R6 and rumored to be priced near the 848 Evo too!

I like everything about this except the cyclops head light. Nice design; however, it reminds me of any Suzuki literbike class. Can't they design s.th like Aprila or Ducati on the head light? Well it's just my opinion.

True! I was never a fan of the single headlight on any bike. The horizontal/dual lamps are more appealing.

Anothy Creek from Desmoworks did a p/s of the F3 in race trim and it looks so sweet!

Yeah this looks much better.
The production bike got mirror view turn signal. Reminds me of CBR1KRR. look pretty slick tho.

Smaller than R6 is good. I think Yamaha seems to make bikes overweight, but rides amazingly.

The mirror t/s has always been MV and Bennelli's thing! Honda just bit off it!

Rumor stirring that it's going to be 10-11K! If so, these are going to be a dime a dozen. It's definitely going to take away from the MV exclusiveness.

Looks like they leaked another color but might be a prototype! White and a Liquid Silver... where do I sign!

I would rock on one of those if my financial situation is better than now.

Edit: "It’s currently putting out 133bhp and 55ftlb torque but they are aiming to boost that before it goes on sale. It’s going into full production in November and the price is to be confirmed.” Now that's a beast right there. They are going to boost more? This would be a supercar killer given its weight and power.

...be careful using supercar and killer in the same sentence especially when you are referring to a bike vs car! You might tick off the right people!

This engine is a 675cc 3 cyl similar to the Triumph 675R, which is about 123hp/53 ftlb. The Italians like the exploit their hp numbers so I'm doubting 133bhp/55ftlb along with their claim to increase it.

Haha True that. So this guy uses Triumph engine? 675cc puts out this much horses is insane already. Even they don't boost more power, this beauty is powerful enough to hang out with liter bike class. Well, I'm really curious about Truimph's reliability.

This could be my next bike if the price is around 11K.

No, this is completely designed by MV but will have the same displacement like the Triumph so it can meet the Super Sport engine qualfications (4 cyl 600cc or 3 cyl 675cc).

I'm very curious/excited to see the outcome as well since this is a totally new project and MV hasn't been involved in a profession race since the mid 70's! I would love to see them back! :happy0180:

Yeah, I would love to see those brand back too. In Moto GP Now, it's like Honda and Yamaha only, and Duc is somewhere behind them.

Just wait, Rossi will be back in the front on that Duc.

i had a daytona 675, 120 bhp at the crank.

a power commander
k&n filter
exhaust

brings it nearer 130 though

i love the look of the mv f3 though, such a god damn nice bike

dont think rossi will do anything on the ducati till at leat 2012 though, i assume they will stuff a crossplane crank in there and try and mimick the set up of the honda, ive heard they are looking at a heavier crankshaft.... like the honda lol

hrc got it right this year and last year, they just didnt have the riders
