One last question, is the green circle referencing a manual? It reminds me more of an automatic? Its been a while but I haven't been paying attention to how Toyota has lately made their cars.
The green circle is the automatic. It has the P-R-N-D and - M + for the manual shift option. If you look at the other pictures of the shift knobs they are different. Looks like the manual ones have a lock that needs to be pulled up to allow it to shift to reverse.

Yes, you're correct. That's AT ver. If you look at it, all three pics have different designs (shifter & wheel colors ). Also if you didn't notice, there's no ring below the shifter to pull it into reverse

Man, I JUST saw this on NASIOC and was going to post here, but you beat me! LOL! Yeah the zoom in version of the tranny looks to be of an automatic. And that button circled in yellow does look to be a push start. I really like the tach.

Yup, that's what I'm seeing. Can't quite make out those buttons right below it though.

Back trunk? ... uh... something squiggly , and wet paint? Bah where's the CSI enhance people when you need them?

I see the replies, want to edit them and just throw it over here?

@tranzformer Hmm interesting though for a push start, didn't they have a key for the race car?
It'll have a key most likely. S2000 had to put key in turn it then hit the button

Auto might be paddle shifters both of the zoomed out interiors are manuals.

@StealthESW and @ichitaka05

Huh, that's interesting, though do you mind if you throw a circle on where you see the lock for reverse? -__- I'm going a little blind staring at the zoomed in images lol.

And also @ichi, what does the Japanese text say?

The one on the right looks like VSC ON/OFF. (Vehicle Stability Control)

Thought most manuals look like that (note, this is just a random image found on google, not related to Toyota's at all)
Both of the zoomed out ones clearly have the manual shifter (note the Subaru style ring that you lift to allow you to select reverse). They have the auto shifter pictured just to show the auto option.

The manual has 2 buttons below the shifter while the automatic has 3.

No, look at the centre console zoom in on the brochure. Clearly they align straight and are all the same size, vs. the one in the race care where the middle control is both smaller and lower.

@Dave-ROR

Huh, I never knew the S2K worked like that (learn something new every minute)
Hmmm I'm trying to notice the Subaru ring (but bear with me, none of my friends have a manual Subaru lol) Is it actually on the shifter itself? I attached a pic with a golden ring.

@quik1987

AH! That makes sense lol

Edit:
Ack, you're quick -_-;

Now that you mention about those two buttons, ... that's really odd... I wonder what that third button does? Tap it and it changes the mode on the auto to go lets say from auto to sports?

I really hope I'm not trying to investigate a shop though :P

I presume that if it is a brochure, its just saying here's how the auto looks like, while the rest show how the manual interior looks like? Dunno
