Only thing I'm worried about when it'll come oversea.... No projectors, dull look, reflectors all over the car, etc...

The sheetmetal looks good....not a big surprise there. That brightwork on the side of the door has to go, it's an obvious tack-on. Also, the tiny badge within the front fender scoop-out between the wheel arch and mirror looks mis-proportioned [too small and positioned too far back]. Hopefully there's a better badge there or simply none at all. Well, it's mostly good here, considering who it's coming from. I'm having trouble warming up to the rather slab looking dash pad, overly organic passenger [and afterthought] airbag cover, and oversized outer circular HVAC vents. The transition between dash pad and door panels is not well thought out, nor is the spacing around the audio location. For those not entirely diffuse in automotive interior design, Toyota & Subaru aren't exactly hallmark or benchmarked in that arena. It's very clear their [low] competency level is apparent in this interior, but for what it's worth, it sucks significantly less than their other models. I'm assuming the white tach is an accessory overlay, considering the Gazoo race car had [thankfully] all black gauges. A single white gauge face makes for too much contrast and difficult readability across the different gauges. I like the center stack, I like the HVAC dials, I like the GT-R style switches, I like the steering wheel simplicity, and I like the seats. Unfortunately, like everyone is saying, it's not likely those seat bolsters will make it to the United States of McDonalds. Overall, it looks positive...and I look forward to seeing the production non-accessorized car.

The badge on the front fender seems to resemble that one:

& Here's WRX seats They follow pretty close line... but they're different (like head). Just think of WRX seats for JP ver, and RS seats for US ver. |
