Recent additions and have been the Hard Dog roll bar and Hondata FlashPro to tune it once the turbo goes in along with completely removing the soft top. Looking to add a Stoptech Trophy front BBK this month and then some more turbo prep parts next month before finally deciding and ordering the turbo kit. Right now the Full-Race twin scroll kit with a BW EFR-7163 turbo is at the top of the list. The car should run its first laps in April.

I like how I have to come here to find updates not S2ki lmao

I will do an S2ki build thread, but I wanted to wait till I get the turbo kit. It is such a touch decision. Ordered a set of Stoptech Trophys for the front today.

Really nice s2000, always liked them cars, was close to get one of those instead of my GT86.
But perhaps be forced to sell off my 86 after this season , to get more money to house and then buy an S2000 instead anyway, as I had originally thought.

Time will determine quite easily.
Do not intend to disappoint my sponsors and replace my car before I finished the season, and would of course complete the build and race the car.
But how do you think Honda and Toyota feels in comparison, thinking mostly about how light 86 feels on track, and stearing feel

I believe the Honda S2000 does everything better. The only downside is that it is a vert and not a coupe. The S2000 has more horsepower and is lighter. They both have electric power steering, so neither have the great steering feel of a manual or hydraulic setup.

It sounds promising, but in Europe the Toyota GT86 is 30-40 kg lighter on paper anyway.
But do not get how our government works out their weights, because it is almost never true if you weigh the cars.
Think in any case that Toyota feels much more accurate than my STI cars and Evo I owned, but of course not much to hang up in the Christmas tree on the straights

Here is my first time with the S2000 on track at NOLA Motorsports park. The Hawk HP+ on the front were a very poor idea, and I had to back up my brake zones really far back to survive a session and the weekend:

I also finally started a spreadsheet on my build costs, and right now I have the build costs at over $24,000 with only two sets of wheels. Add in the price of the car at $15,000, and you get an idea of the costs to build a NASA TT3 time attack car. I am sure additional costs will creep in plus the consumables.

Racecars have full roll cages, kill switches, fire suppression systems, and window nets. Don't let the Because Racecar people fool you. The S2000 will have none of those.
