People are flakes I've found in general.

Rarely do I find people that do exactly what they say, when they say they're going to do it.

The person who WAS to help me decided they didn't want to make 2 trips into town, and tried to fit the video session in with a job interview on Friday, didn't want to drive to do what she'd already agreed to do today, so I'm back to looking for someone to help me make these stupid short vids so I can post them on youtube.

The second girl who said she could help just now texted and said her boyfriend said no. I swear, Fu(king people agree to do sh!t and then flake out. They don't take into consideration I've arranged my day around this, sometimes it feels like a lack of respect, well, it IS actually. FLAKES, I don't like them!

I guess I'm the stupid one, I should know how to do this myself, but i still need another person to help with this project.

I had never heard of them before & I researched the crap outta them as a kid (wish we had the internet back then!). I had a chance to purchase a 1/1 scale car about 10 years ago, but glad I hadn't - I was laid off a few months after viewing that car.
Hopefully the ship hasn't sailed for me on Pantera ownership, with prices continuing to rise, but in the meantime please keep us in the loop on yours!
I fell in love with them riding in a friends father's. White.. forgot the year but 75 stands out in my head for whatever reason.

I've always liked them ever sense even though I haven't been able to justify one yet.

Strange how life works out. I'd never seen or even known what a Pantera was till I saw this thread about a week ago.

Driving through my little small town this past weekend, I look over as something pecuilar caught my eye where i then see a blue one with white stripes sitting at the local hardware store. An anomaly, I chalk it up to be. But then I saw it again today when I was heading home. I know I've never seen it before, for my eyes are always drawn to exotic looking cars. It has literally just entered my life at nearly the same time I learned about their existence.

It's these things sorts of cosmic coincidences that make me wonder if the Matrix is in fact real--like learning s new vocabulary term and then you hear it frequently after that...

Sweet car. They actually don't appear as large as they do in pictures--at least not to me.

LOL, well said!

Mine is the hardest car I've ever had to work on. Simple things are HUGE undertakings, but it's worth it. The looks, the power, and handling (mine's set up for the track), it's one of the prettiest cars ever made IMO.

There's 100 other cars that are sexier and better looking, but most are WAY out of my ability to own price-wise.

Like most women!

With the average life expectancy of cars vs people in mind your car/woman analogy means yours is actually more like an old lady that has probably had several face lifts and transplants (Don't get me wrong I love the car, just sayn')

You are correct in your description. Except the face lifts and transplants have left her still looking beautiful, with around 650hp to the wheels.

She is in great condition, but could use a complete restoration. Zero rust, just old and well taken care of, and used like a performance car should be used, so she's spent quite a bit of time on the track.

Her plastic surgeons set her up nicely though with lots of frame bracing, racing suspension, and the boob job got stroked to 408 with IR's and EFI, and really gets her moving fast for having gone through so many procedures lol.

I take it there's still some lubrication down in the oil pan? No dry sump.

Too far.
