I'm just going to drive to random places. Where-ever the road takes me.

I woke up around 6:30AM I was thinking of a place to drive. I was eyeing HWY49, little dragon, for a while, but its 2hrs 44 minute drive. I became lazy not wanting to go and did some homework instead. I decided I have to go somewhere and I must drive. I was looking through the drive chat to see if anything was happening. Nothing was going on. Little dragon is a far away drive 5hrs trip plus the little dragon. I said to myself, “maybe some other time”.

Mt Hamilton I haven’t been there in a while. I left around 9Amish grab a full tank of gas and drove off for an adventure and thrills. On 680N traffic slowly came to a halt. I was stuck in traffic for 2 miles I don’t know how long I was there for. It felt like forever. It was around 10Amish close to 11AM. All that time I was thinking of just exiting out finding another way of getting there. My batteries were slowly dying hahaa. Mission BLVD was heavy in traffic. I stuck it out and finished the 2 mile traffic. A white blue race stripe mustang roared and came close behind me getting right at my bumper. I dislike it a lot and there was many lanes to the left and I was far right. Waiting to exit out on 84 East. The mustang pushed his car more roaring whatever engine that is. I don’t know the sound of a V8 to a V6. He passed me going above 80. Turns out he was going 84 East too.

The weather was cloudy filled with patches of sunlight. To me the weather is fine however to others will say it’s cold. I reached the start of mines rd and enter mt Hamilton yay! Let the engine roar and I’m shifting gears 2 3 4 4 3 3 4. This time there wasn't any gravel signs from the last time I drove (weeks ago). Almost no cars and little to no bicyclist. The road was dry on the Livermore side. The roads were curvy left and right, formed S shaped, and tight upins. I had slips in the back to see how much I can push into a corner anything above 55 – 60 got me slipping and some 45ish were like eeeeee a bit hahaha. I was having a blast! Part of the trip there’s a straight road section. I want to say I finally hit my first triple digits in this car 100 – 105 mph. The car was floating a bit? I had my windows down air going through it may have cause the effect I don’t know! There was a little slump in the road when I was driving at that speed it felt like a roller-coaster just dropped bit and that feeling in the stomach it gave me the chills.

The cattle guards it felt like a roller-coaster like here’s the starting point and here the next starting point and between those two points is some form of coaster up and down the hills and turns maybe there should be a loopy loop and cork screw hahaha. Finally I ascended up the mountain and it slowly became foggier by each u turn. I knew I drove too fast into those u turns and I started slipping and I was feeling all giddy inside. This is so fun hahaha . I managed to pull a turn where I did too much and the front end of the car did some sort of hard screech I think because I didn’t turn fast enough to align the wheels point on the road? Only twice I pulled off that type of noise. The roads slowly became moist and I can’t see anything outside just a grey background.

Eventually, I reached the peak of Mt Hamilton and this is complete fog like I can’t see anything in front of me and the roads were very wet I can see why it definitely will be icy perhaps black ice ones you can’t see on the road and it is very slippery! I was wondering of Lick Observatory was still open. It is still open to the public. Drove up there and parked it. There are other cars around too. I couldn’t see a thing out there just a grey. Oh I forgot it sprinkled as I got up. I stayed there for 10 minutes or 15 minutes or so. This was maybe 12pmish?

I drove down towards San Jose and the rain just poured like a bucket filled of water comes running down in a wave. Okay maybe not that but it poured a lot enough I had to put the windshield wipers on lvl 3 or was it lvl 2? Its right when the wind shield wipers wipe fast every time it touches the hood. I haven’t experienced a drive in a down pour. I definitely needed this to get my car clean through nature hahaha. I was having fun slipping a bit more feeling what it feels to lose control just a little bit. The slippery traction icon appeared few times through the ride. The joyride slowly became to a slow ride after I reached a VW Passat through the several U pins going down. Followed the VW Passat for 30 minutes or so. He finally decided to pull to the right.

Finally, I jetted out and at one of those turns my car was slipping with the aggressive sound this is the 2nd time I experienced this sound I mentioned earlier. I was like whoa and weee. Rain rain and more rain as I got closer towards San Jose. I thought at first this is Hamilton but then I guess it is raining in San Jose. A lot of cops I passed by in Alum Rock. Traffic hit me around 130Ish heading home on 680 entering 101 S I’m home safe. Fun Fun I had.
