If you look at the pics of the TRD Japan car it doesnt have any TRD specific emblems. Just the front and rear toyota ones. Those are the ones were bringing in, but if you see an emblem youre interested in PM me a pic or link and Ill look for it for you

I'm going to leave the Scion badges on, but I am glad the "FR-S" badge is just a stick-on!

I think I'm just going to plasti dip the scion badges matte black, with my FR-S being ultramarine it should blend in and not be as visible.

Where's the pic?
Could you provide the part number? I'd like to try to order through my local dealer (not in USA).

Is it confirmed that the Scion badges for the FR-S have prongs? Seems very out of the way for Toyota to punch two holes into the hood and trunk just for the Scion version if all 3 cars (86/BRZ/FR-S) are all manufactured in the same factory?

oh, and Toyota wheel caps?

Luis,

I don't know if you guys have a hookup for JDM parts or not but how tough do you think it would be to import some "86" horn buttons over here? I know they carry an airbag, which if I recall my HAZMAT training, is not easy to transport legally. When we had a defective airbag or a returned airbag at my Toyota dealer, it would be destroyed rather than being sent back to the warehouse. Seriously, if I could get an "86" horn button/airbag cover and the two Toyota badges I'd probably buy the Scion version instead. Like what TuxedoCartman said, I am disgusted with the Scion brand.

Why does not wanting to be associated with the childish Scion demographic make those that want toyota emblems butthurt? I'm not going to go excessively out of my way to scrub every single Scion emblem off (such as the steering wheel emblem, which is far too expensive and too much hassle) but i would rather be associated with Toyota than their little marketing experiment gone wrong. TuxedoCartman really said it best.

As for me i'm going to replace the front and back emblems with Toyota badges and probably replace the FR-S emblem with "86". I also haven't really done any research as to how hard it would be to replace the Scion emblems from the wheels (probably not that hard). As for the steering wheel... oh well.

First, let me say I have no issue with folks that want to change out the badges. I'd rather it was a Totota too, but not because of the "Scion culture" which does not seem to be as prevalent where I live. I see more heavily modified Hondas than Scions in this area. I would have just preferred Toyota.

I have to wonder though if folks really have such deep feelings about the Scion marketing brand, why would you support it financially when there is an alternative car on the market? From Toyota's prospective, if the FR-S becomes a successful make for Scion, then their experiment is working and you'll just see them do it with more cars, not fewer.

Just food for thought, not trying to stir anything up.

I'm planning on getting a BRZ, I'll leave the badges but I will remove the BRZ text to clean it up a bit.
