By gutted I mean no window or power window components. Not cut up or anything.

Its been a while but I used one of those weld remover bits, Some areas was hard to fit so some welds were ground down then just pryed the damn thing off. A lot of work for a pound but its useless with a CF Driveshaft

Yeah those are defineatly on my list. I don't need the extra adjustment points though. Im hoping I can accurately measure the stock dimensions and set the racerx ones to that. I just don't want to have to pay for another alignment

I hear you and I also hear they're a bitch to do. Once done they're set. All for a good cause.

Bitch to do - U mean installing them or getting them aligned?

My fear is local hack mechanics aren't going to be able to figure out how to align it

I think a bit of both leaning towards alignment being more of a pain. Once set you're done. Here's a good read. I still think they would be 100% worth it though. They're on my list too.

The RacerX RUCA's are super easy to install. The initial alignment is a bit of a pain because to change camber you need to pop out the rod end to turn it and not many alignment shops want to do it. My shop checked the rear camber and I went back home to adjust one side, and then came back for a full alignment. They did not charge me for the initial check although I tipped the alignment tech extra afterwards.
