Did you try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?

Did you check the battery in the fob or at least try the backup method in the owner's manual? I believe you just touch the fob to the metal ring around the button but am not positive.

Wait, did you disconnect your car's (supposedly dead) battery from the car? You should not do that.

I just installed a new battery in my car last weekend. (BRZ pushbutton start)
I did not have to do anything at all special.

It even remembered my radio presets and phonebook.

Just be smart and do it quickly

Is your battery clean (the terminals)?
Have a voltage meter/battery tester tool?

like this

Did you re-tighten battery terminals?
Try starting car with a different battery?

Can you take battery to local autoshop/O'rilleys/NAPA etc for testing?
Did you try reading the manual?
Did you recently do any car mods?
Are your fuses ok? Do you have a tool to check them?
Do any of your electric dependent items work like ac input? Lights? Car beeps?

I dont own a push start model (just not a big fan of all electric), but these are things I would check.

Later on, id check starter, alternator, etc...

Keep us posted!~

Yes, so ecu re-programs itself. Just unplug one cable while you work installing it. I know some people dont do this, they just plug and play.

If you are referring to removing the negative terminal to do the install then no you don't have to worry. I have removed the negative terminal many times and it's good to go once i put the negative terminal back on.
