This is why I doubt that replacing the clutch pedal bushing will fix this issue. It's louder under the hood. If it's clutch pedal bushing, then it should be louder in the cabin.
Just for the record, replacing the clutch pedal bushing didn't do anything.
I've been trying to get this fixed since April. I'm so tired of the dealer here. I wish they would just listen to me and do the fix everyone else is getting...

Here is the dealer invoice for the parts if anyone is interested.

Interesting. Everything I saw was lack of grease. This is the first one I see about excessive grease. I wonder if anything could happen in the future to the people who got greased more to get rid of the noise.

I inspected the defective parts myself and the release bearing itself was no good. Lots of play and the grease probably blew out of the seals. The dealer description is not the greatest on the work order.

Well, I got the dealer runaround. They changed the fuel pump because they said that was causing the squeak I heard. When I brought the car in the service adviser got in and pushed the pedal and said "ooh that's noticeable and would bug me..." but after that they couldn't replicate the sound so they did nothing. When I picked it up he told me they cleaned and lubed everything but on the work order it says no issue found - no work performed. He also said "I never heard anything, don't put words in my mouth!" Guess I gotta get on the phone with SOA on Monday morning.

Heh, at least the crickets are on vacation until this pump starts to chirp.
