Zeroing Out AEM Tru Boost Gauge
I've gotten an AEM Tru Boost gauge for boost control for my FBM turbo. After reading the manual and watching some how-to videos, I'm a bit worried that I'm out of my depth. My friend who is helping me with the build hasn't used one before.
I'd prefer to let my tuner set the gauge next weekend, but I'd rather install the hardware now rather than pay him to do it. Is it possible to install the gauge and solenoid, but not set it up for boost control? Can I just not run the initial setup on the gauge, or is there a way that I can zero out the settings to use just the wastegate? I appreciate any info! Edit: It seems like I should be able to just set the Duty Cycle to 0. I'm wondering if this will be the equivalent of not installing the solenoid at all.
