I would be jealous if the second gen gets an 8-speed ZF. Otherwise, this 6-speed Aisin is perfect, especially when the car is 300HP. See thatdudeinblue if you want to know what I mean.

It's a good unit. Arguably better than the manual.

It's the same. Power measured at the business end, not the engine.

Man, that's a really clean version! I always key on how he modulates his throttle mid-corner and wonder if that was in his standard toolkit, or if he's just doing it to feel out a machine that was new to him.

As long as the next gen doesnt use a CVT.....

If you ever thought an automatic is boring, and couldnt get any more boring....drive a CVT. It somehow saps away any remaining sensation of "fun" that lingers from an automatic.

Actually the newest version of the Subie CVT has addressed some of that. I didn't mind the one in the wife's Impreza whereas I truly hated the one in her Mitsubishi.

If you mean the video, I think whp and hp are mixed up there since I didn't see any other mods there. JRSC only makes 300 hp on the crank with pump gas and stock engine.

Just a casual drive, VTEC engaged.
Just watched it again 3x times...

I have a "one of one" A.S. special edition...

I first saw him live in a Toleman in 84(?) in MTL

Got some BW picts somwhere...

There was already a buzz about him on his debut...

Back on subject: Gut feeling is after this mess were in it may take quite a while before we see a 2n gen if at all.

Take care all of you out there.
