I'll get in contact with the guys from Melbourne and find out more about their club.

It's more to do with hiding identity. lots of people take pic around the tracks so without the plate showing, it's not as easy to identify your car. obviously if you have special wheels, stickers etc then it doesn't work.

Sure there is some ground work to do.

Overall you still work as independent groups joined by basic needs and rules.
but you have more room to grow and be part of larger force.

P.S Club of Australia holds more weight than than just one city or state.
I have been in few car clubs over the years .During that period one of those clubs gained its national idenity which lifted its profile. this brings benifits to all members ie : discounts plus.

National clubs do everything by e-mail plus and have national gathering every 2-3 years.

So don't start small then 3 years later think this will be a good idea set it up now. " AND MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU"

I agree. It just opens up more events you can do. I do most of my racing with AMSAG/AASA.

Got an email from CAMS with all the details. Just haven't had time to read it because I spent all weekend doing mods to the 86.

Mate keep racing in those groups but we still as club don't have to be members of CAMS carry a sticker for this club on your car.Best of both worlds.
