I would like to bolt the 3" dump tube to a JDL 3" overpipe/front pipe

Off topic but that's a nice setup. Any leaks on your motor by any chance?

Those pictures aren't of my car, they're just some examples I pulled from google to help visualize what I'm talking about.

I did some digging in the boards and it looks like the AVO 3" overpipe and downpipe MUST go together to fit.

I guess my next question is, does the 3" AVO frontpipe also need to be used or will any 3" frontpipe fit?

I think the stock 2.5" is just a slotted flange, and I agree that it was a giant pain in the ass.

Ok you can officially add me to the owners list. Kit is installed with 700cc injectors and DW pump. Upgraded the flex Delicious fuel kit to the +. Car is running just have not completed the lower pan fit. Instead of using the spacers I am re profiling it to clear everything. Than I can get it off of jacks and drive it! I will wait to get on it till it is fully tuned.

You'd want wider tires/wheels, per say, not just "bigger". You'd want stickier tires too. It's different for everyone, but if you're set on getting new wheels/tires, I'd get 17x9s with 245/40/17s

Noticed you were in the area. Should try hitting up Drift Office in Auburn, WA; it's the go to shop for tuning 86's in our area. They can do install and dyno tuning for you.

And the $4400 you're looking at is for stage 1. Stage 2 starts at $5900. Though I got mine from Drift Office for a bit below that, not sure if prices have changed though.

I got the new stage 1. Catch can, MAP sensor, air filter, ect included. I do not beleive they make the striped down kit anymore. $4900. For the new stage 1 kit. If the one you are looking at is the new stage one kit at $4,400 than that is the best price I have seen. THMotorsports still lists the old stage 1 kit at $3,900 but they do not have them. The got the new stage 1 kit for me at $4,500.
