Choice of slicks for HPDE
I'm going to order Enkei 17x8 with some slicks for the track only use.
I can't decide between Hanook Z214 (C51), Kumho V710, new Toyo R888 and BFGoodrich R1. And maybe Nitto NT01. I've had some experience with V710 with my Supra and mostly liked them. But I'm open to try something different with much lighter car. Any opinions from someone with firsthand experience? In addition, the tirerack recommends 235/40-17 for given rim size but it looks like many owners have good experience mounting 245s on those rims? TIA! |

Wait for the 17x9s. I highly recommend nt01s as they tend to last the longest without heat cycling out
