I'm perfectly fine with 17's for factory wheels. It's a small car so factory 17's will look nice anyway. 19's are probably a bit big for this car and will likely negatively affect handling anyway, especially if it's not going to be coming with a ton of power. Do S2000s comes with 17" factory wheels?

18" wheels will probably end up being the compromise size between handling and looks.

Yup... I think the 17s will fit well, but I'd guess a lot of people will end up swapping for 18s.

I would keep the 17s. Less expensive, more tire options, and most importantly less weight.

I'd rather it come stock with 16s... Keep those rims for snow tires and get 17s or 18s for the rest of the year. Just please DON'T give us huge wheelwells that will fit 20s with a 2" drop. Then it looks ridiculous for the other 99% of the people that keep their stock wheels (or something similar to stock).

I'm betting on 5x114.3

Hm... If they keep the 4/2 pot brakes, it's gonna be hard. So far I know, GC8 was only ones that had 16" 4/2 pot brakes stock... but I do agree that 16s would be nice, but I prefer 17s in both summer & winter.

i'd want 16" wheels personally, that is if the brakes and rotors worked well enough at that size.

If the weight is right, even 15" wheels can be enough for the discs.

I would love the wheels to be as small as possible, 16" would be good, 15" would be ideal for my driving style.

A RWD sports car must be capable of going sideways too...

I am hoping for 16s so I can buy cheap slicks, but 17 would not be to bad.

Whatever size is fine with me. I'll be upgrading to 18's anyway.

Or down grade (if they keep the stock 19s).

Don't know if anyone caught this tidbit, but here's some potentially bleak news on the concept's weight from 7tune:

I believe the engineer I spoke to said the car weighed 1300kg. They wouldn’t let us shoot under the bonnet unfortunately. They did start the car up and give it a rev but it didn’t sound like a boxer at all. I own an STi and know the sound well so I’m not sure what’s going on there. Also, despite my insistence, there was no confirmation on turbocharging. At the moment it’s going to remain N/A apparently.

Also interesting that it apparently didn't have the boxer in it, so no idea what impact that has on the weight...

I imagine a less flashy interior would drop the weight down a bit too, but still, 2860 lbs is quite a bit porkier than I would have liked to hear

Toyota better start hacking off some more material from that car...
