The car does look great but i believe he's running the same setup he has always ran.. H6 Motor - Twin Turbo 6 Cylinder

Not sure if this photo indicates tube frame or not:

My point is that if you aren't using the chassis, and not using the engine, you aren't really using the car. It's a 7s subaru motor, not a 7s BRZ.

It's a BRZ body on a dragster chassis/engine. That is all.

Think this is one of the most irrelevant comments and dumbest comments to make for an 86 chassis drag car.

when it comes down to it, its not necessarily the "car", but the engine... Take the drag celica running the 2jz for instance... its neither a 4cyl. or fwd... soooo, yea, i really wouldn't consider it an actual brz if its just a fiberglass body and completely diff engine... But, if that is a suby 4cyl boxer, then thats one hell of a build. Don't know much about the driver either, so yea.

Did some quick searching and by the sounds of it they're using an ej25... Curious to see where the 2.4L came from, unless they rounded down...

Not really... I can ensure you every one of my cars go around a track quicker then you. I'll be at NJMP later this year if you're interested.

I don't really consider it a BRZ/FR-S if they swap the engine. It's like putting another brain into my body and calling me the same. Yes it's a cool car regardless.
