A Red Bull 1-2 would have been perfect for Christian Horner this weekend. Yes, Lewis went for a legitimit move, but the result was not desired. His podium WAS later taken away with a 5 second penalty and Sainz took it. It didnt look like anybody but Verstappen was on top form this last weekend. A shame really.

Leclerc was. Fighting his way up from his 10 place penalty to battle for 3rd with his teammate. Impressive. Too bad his teammate is Seb.

IMO Leclarc needs to get out of Ferrari. I would love to see Max and Charles as team Redbull. Clearly that will never happen. But it would be great.

Sainz went from last to 5th pre Hamilton penalty and Albon’s crash.

You guys are right. Leclerc is a much better driver than Seb, he deserves more. And Sainz has also been pretty amazing lately. I didnt know he came from last, I wasnt paying attention.

Im a Lewis fan. There is a level to him most people dont see. He can make that car last forever. He is the king of race-pace. Bottas was an idiot sticking so close to Leclerc trying to pass. He killed the car himself. He should know better.

I am a Sainz fanboy so I notice. His car had a PU issue in Q1, he didn't get to complete a lap. Think it was ignition issue. I don't dislike any of the drivers on the grid to be honest.

Hamilton has amazing race craft. His success is well earned.

Alonso had these prophetic words about Vettel in 2013:

"Time will tell us, I think when he will have a car like the others, if he wins he will have a great recognition and he will be one of the legends in Formula One.

"When one day, he has a car like the others, when he is fourth, fifth or seventh, these four titles will be bad news for him.

"People will take these four titles, even in a worse manner than what they are doing now so they're are interesting times for Sebastian Vettel."

Looks like pushing/pulling the steering wheel changes the toe of the front wheels. Quite a bit of speculation on the effect.

That would be super clever if that's what it is.

The explanation on F1's website is funny but here is their video. Merc has come out and said "DAS" is "Dual Axis Steering"

https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/a...taFZPCKC4.html

The speculation is what are they trying to accomplish? Handling characteristic? Tire heating? Change in toe for better speed on straights? It's cool to see this type of tech

Not an alignment pro but I could understand the full speed strait performance is not the same as a good cornering set-up..
