will the loan be voided?
will they take my car?
will my car title go from clean to salvage?
im just not sure.
it's generally a good idea to get a used car inspected-- at least it's something that all the car buying experts thoroughly recommend. i've never done it though.

if your car had frame damage, it should have a salvage title. if you have a clear title, you most likely don't have any issues. there's illegitimate ways for people to wash titles by stealing a vin of a similar color/model car, but it's not something any branded dealer group, even one shut down for tax reasons has ever done that i'm aware of. usually shady mom/pop buy-here-pay-here type lots that have more of a history of that kind of behavior, and more along the lines of higher class cars that people want but can't actually afford.

as i said before, if you search your vin through google, you should be able to locate just about any history on the vehicle.

as an example, i had a totalled brz. it popped up in this service with the correct odometer reading, as well the sold price (wow, someone paid $25k for a totalled brz!)

purchasing the report would get me all the pictures of its state when it sold as a salvage vehicle with damage.

but again, generally speaking, if the carfax is clear, you're generally not going to have a vehicle with issues. carfax misses things, but for carfax, and the state to miss a salvage title, it would require a number of things to go wrong.

the lawyer is peppering mailboxes for his pay check. he doesn't care about the truth, just seeing who he can "fight for" to make money by any means available.

When you get a form letter, throw it away. When you get pre-sorted mail, throw it away. Opening is up is a waste of time.
