Bayson R Motorsports Bodykits (good or bad)

Anyone have any experience with the bodykits from this company? They make the GT86 style bodykit that runs around 2000 from Japan, but this one from Bayson is ABS which is rare and will run around 600 or so shipped.

be careful with cheap body kits. They usually need extra work at the body shop (and most body shops hate working on them) that will end up costing quite a bit. I have made this mistake before, and the final price with bondo/paint/labor/parts, it gets pretty spendy. I believe the OEM ones are pre-painted as well, which cuts down cost and headaches.

I hear you on that. It had caught my eye just because they were ABS which all I ever see is PU.

i like the trd kit, and i've researched just as much if not more than anybody else. the thing that keeps me away from the replicas, is that most (if not all) of their advertisement images are of cars with authentic kits! they provide no photos of their actual product mounted on a car.. yeah some of them show a couple guys holding the kit up on a bumper or trunk, but there are no detailed pictures on how the kit actually fits.

they might be cheap, but i wouldn't want to spend $400-$800 bucks on a kit that will definitely need work to fit. in the end, could have bought the real deal.

Here's my experience with Bryson R

Attachment 63857Attachment 63858Attachment 63859

The body shop that I took it to said they were one of the easiest pieces they have ever done. And I told them I paid only around $75 for them and they were shocked at how good it fit for so cheap. I got to say though it's a 9/10 fit I was recommended to not use the double sided tape that was attached to the kit. So I used the body shops 3m tape so I have never tried their tape but it looked legit.

Well I guess for 150 buck for the front nose piece if it doesn't look worth a crap I'm not out a lot and know not to buy the other parts. I want to remove the license plate bracket anyways and I would be nervous about doing that on a 600 dollar lip.

If anybody gets the Bayson R TRD kit, please post a review. I've been eyeballing it for a while but didn't want to pay for something that needed a lot of modification to fit. Plus, I'm still hoping somebody will erase that license plate...
