PSA: Clamping EVAP hoses under Intake Manifold, the easy way..

This is taken from my build thread.


The easy way to clamp those stupidly located hoses:

Nice! Some funky pliers, swearing, burned hands, and creativity got it done for us at the track.

Those hoses can't be ignored, the moment you go boosted, do this people. Nice tip.

yes burnt hands on a raining night was the last straw for me lol ZIPtied the next day and still going strong lol but im sure running 20psi soon ima need clamps lol

It's been a while since I've been to a track, but as I recall that's how most things get done at the track.

I'm not boosted and at this pace wont be any time soon. I also didn't realize those weren't clamped. I'd say clamping those is next on the to do list.

actually i think that was my issue lol

but is at the shop getting spark plugs checked up, compression and leak down test

i fucking hate that motor has to be up 7 inches to check them and i got no patience so i pay lol

but as soon as it gets here, ill finish my catch can installation and clamp every single hose i see lol
