My wife is a very careful and safe driver, I don't worry for the car. She often drives when I've had a few too many pints. Although I do prompt her to go faster through roundabouts and I find myself saying quite often "Don't embarrass the FR-S".

I let my "wife" steer all the time. My other hand is too busy shifting gears.

My soon to be fiancé is capable of driving stick with super vision but the way she regularly drives her chevy cruze scares the shit out of me. She had a 5th gen prelude before her cruze and I guess she still thinks she has a sporty car.

Clutch is not covered under warranty as its a wearable item. Its VERY VERY hard to get something like that covered.

Back on topic: I'd love for my wife to drive my car once in awhile, she refuses to learn stick thou.

The way I see it, if she ruins the clutch = opportunity to get an upgraded clutch.

AS much as I'm not looking forward to doing a clutch swap on my garage floor. (i've done quite a few but its always more of a pITA than it should be with limited room)

I am looking forward to having a better clutch in the car.

The second line is the usual response I get from people my parents' age and above when I ask if they want to ride. And when they complain about it, I let them know I want to go even lower with new springs

My 82 year old mother makes up excuses for me to have to take her places. Even though it is lowered she has less issues getting in and out than she does with most SUVs. She just sort of falls in and I just sort of grab her hands and pull her straight up to get out. Getting her boasted up into my wife's RVR is a much more difficult production.

No doubt, but there are stereotypes for a reason.
