The smoked tails look so much better. I'm very eager to hear pricing. Looks like the fancy climate stuff was left out, no LEDs in the headlights, etc.. So I'm thinking quite a chunk less than the Scooby. Overall I like the BRZ more, I think.. but if this is several grand less, I have no problems going with this.

Hard to tell from the angle of the pic and how far the seat is forward/back, but this pic shows some more room for the back than some others we have seen the past few days.

Are the seats covered in Alcantara (suede)?

Not accurate to just tell by that photo because you can't see how forward the driver's seat is pushed up.

Ok the Scion does get the high spec speakers at least... or at least it shows the 8 speakers in the pics. Also the pics state "shown with optional equipment" so we'll have to see how much we can get as options. Silver? tach I think instead of black or white so those in the US who wanted white might be completely out of luck. The optional equipment in the pic could just be the automatic though.. but I'd guess the 8 speaker audio too. The headunit looks out of place in the car.. obviously off the shelf piece but it just doesn't fit well IMO. For whatever reason the rear seat seat back looks incredibly cheap.. never noticed that in the Subaru/Toyota versions/pics. Auto down windows on both sides stay. Low spec has cruise and traction control. HVAC controls look CHEAP. I'm not a huge fan of dual temp automatic systems but it looks a lot nicer then the low spec one! USB stays. No heated seats, no foglights, base seats, etc as already noted. No HIDs or LED front lights shown, but that may be optional like the low spec in Japan. I'm assuming the low spec brakes will be on the Scion, high spec on Subaru, but who knows...

Looking forward to NAIAS for real info instead of the **** tease. lol

Oh 86 badge DOES STAY on the fender!! That's one plus! I can replace the ugly subaru piece with the proper one by buying the part at the Scion dealer now.

I dont like how they've cheapened the car by :
-taking the led headlights away
-downsizing the exhaust tips
-changing the climate controls

That's what I said. Can you try to get a good pic from Tokyo or are you done?

So is it possible that the headlights and digital climate control might be available as options?

Seeing as the Scion business plane is one model.

Thats good. Brings the cost down. Which is what we want. Save those for upgrades.
