Sort of new to this and was wondering what the purpose of an Oil Cooler will do for the FR-S. Is this for people who track their cars or will this benefit people who just like to build cars and track it once a year? And why is their a need to add more oil if you have it installed?

Thanks

Take a look at the first post in this thread for why you would want one: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13991

How much for just the spacer under the sandwich plate? Or the spacer + plate. I'm kind of a DIY guy, and cheap, so I'd rather use the much cheaper Long/Trucool coolers and some Aeroquip/Earls fittings.

WHAT if you need this and you already have an intercooler taking up 100% of that space where your oil cooler currently resides?

I'll wait patiently

Sounds great man. If I could keep my turbo oil temps below 220F (running it hard) I'd be a happy camper.

Though I'm still used to my 370Z always hitting limp mode during drift/track sessions when it reached 280F.......

A normal day for that car was 215F on a commuter route.

Maybe something similar to this:

Especially if you could mount it behind the where the fog light would go on the bumper and fab up a piece to replace that grill so air can get to the oil cooler.

All you gotta do is trash talk Perrins competitors and give no constructive criticism.
