Cheaa buddy! Getting married was a great step in my life less than a year ago. Here's to happiness! And also I can tell you from experience that marrying up is the way to go!

Now on to E85/OFH/ESC tunes! But not too quickly, take your time enjoying that first couple of weeks!

i can only begin to think of all the cool things we could do with an ecu input and custom maps .

sell it and use the money to buy an ecutek license and take your wife out to dinner a couple times... the tune's free. besides you'll be helping out the community . i'll even give you the license at cost lol. i just want to tune one of these damn things.

Same chance as with flashing with OFT.

That OFT would sell soon, James is offering you a few hundred dollar tune for free.... Think about that long and hard... Best tune you will be able to get on this platform... for FREE.

I would consider the same thing if I were in Florida, that's a killer deal to get the tune for free! Would be fun to be part of the experimentation for that.

This is true. Amazing stuff!
I would have to beg to differ on the OFT/ECUtek visibility. OFT leaves no trace of itself in ECU other than any modified parameter. You can flash back to stock easily too. ECUTek leaves the header/license data in ECU so if Scion were so inclined i bet they could find it.

you can very easily flash back the stock rom without the license data on it, just the same as unmarrying an OFT. it just consumes your license (which would need to be bought again if you want to flash the tune back on later).

So just a thought, why not get a kit directly from @Robftss? This way you can continuously develop your tunes as Phantom ESC upgrades are released (dual dump packs, aux charger, TQ300, flexfuel(?) etc) and not just rely whatever hardware is deployed in your area. The kit costs so much less than every other F.I. option. Your investment would also send a strong message of platform support and not just a one-off tune for whatever reason. Vishnu tuning and @shiv@vishnu has offered full spectrum support for the platform. I've really appreciated that commitment of resources from them, and tuners like @Bu-Tang and Bob @Drift-Office have done. It would be great to have an ECUTek tuner offer full support in the way the BRZedit and OpenFlash tuners have. Those tuners get my support because they've done what early adopters like us in this thread have done and that is invested in the project.
