Mystery pink springs
They are pink but i dont see any STI logo or anything. The damper according to the part number is the sachs unit. these are supposedly pulled from a brz ts.
springs, i dont see any part numbers at all though i dont know if there are usually part numbers on springs. https://imgur.com/a/loXEY any thoughts? return them? |

Thanks? I tend not to post images directly since they sometimes make mobile viewing a pain in the ass.

Subaru has colored their STi suspension parts cherry blossom red (pink) since the 90s. They are typically the standard part on the Japanese car and an accessory for the US market. Likely spring set B2010CA000.

There are 3 different pink springs with different part numbers. One is aftermarket for US, one is aftermarket for JDM and one is stock for STi/tS models.
Perhaps the third one are not branded... |

That's a good point. I will just have to install them and see.
More interested in the sachs dampers over my too-stiff-over-bad-roads 2013 showas tbh. |

Oh, lowering is 10 mm for US Kit and 15 mm for JDM. Can you check what’s lowering for your set?

I've no idea, though I wasn't even aware the TS or PP versions of the car are lowered. Gonna install them in a week or two.
Going to install the 1mm thicker rear sway bar too since im changing to 2017 suspension. |

FYI, website says that aftermarket STi JDM springs are not compatible on STi cars...

Yeah. The place I bought them from said it was from a BRZ STI (ts?) with 600miles. If they were aftermarket they'd have the sti logo on them I'd think.

I got my pink springs today (JDM aftermarket); there are some paint spots, that identify spring type. Mine are 1 yellow and 1 white on front springs.
Can you check if your OEM have same colors? If so, the spring is the same, just not branded. |

I don't understand what you are trying to do, confirm they are off a tS?
the damper itself already has the part number on it being sachs, but it's not the normal black spring. so it is the tS version. US version tS doesn't emphasis the STI logo on that car, there is either no sti marking or mostly blacked out. hope what i said helps. PS: If they wanna fuk around with you, i don't think anyone has the time to actually swap the srping out .... just for that... |
