New car

Finally got my new 86 the other day. Got the Hakone edition, and man it's so clean.

I had trouble getting past the color, but a very sincere congratulations. I really like it otherwise.

The colour can be very confusing in pictures. In person the way the sun plays off it and creates various different hues really works. That effect just does not come across well in still photos.

With Neptune, I thought I had made the colour choice I couldn't regret.

I still wouldn't say I regret it, but if I would have waited another 6 months I definitely would have had a difficult choice. Love the wheels and colour!

I thought that they produced two variants of the Hakone, southern and northern hemisphere. Northern being the dullard..

We will have sun eventually and then it will look like the southern variant.

I can artificially simulate the sun with editor though!

Well I see they haven't fixed the worst brake design ever yet. I can't even see if those are really new pads or not. WTF.

I am going to drill holes through the calipers and pads so that I can see the pad thickness from anyplace in the parking lot.
