SO you melted the bushing and boot with the stock header?

I had not seen such melting before. Guess its because of track duty rather than road driving.

No, stuff got melted when I was on the ACE header. I lost two out of the three header-to-overpipe studs.

I’ll be curious to hear your input on the difference between the ace and the jdl and the power difference (if it's even noticeable).

I ran the ACE with flex fuel and 7800 rpm redline, and am running JDL on 93 and 7600 rpm redline. No dyno graphs to compare as the current tune was done remotely. But overall the car feels awesome again, very peppy and sounds much better too.

Last time at Barber in July on OEM tune and exhaust all I managed was a 1:50, last Saturday I was doing 1:46 (also running sticker tires though) and was hoping for a 1:44-1:45 Sunday morning but that will be another update as to why I did not run Sunday at all.

Had a great Saturday at Barber, chipping away at lap times as the day progressed. After the very last session noticed the inside of the front driver tire was soaked in brake fluid, crap! Not sure where the leak is coming from and do not have time to investigate now but the piston seals are cracked and look worn out. Next weekend is NCM so I overnighted brand new fronts through Stivers Decatur Subaru. Will bleed with Castrol SRF tomorrow and should be ready to rock.

$630 each?
Any particular reason you went with OEM Brembos rather than Brembo GT?

$592.32 each + 194.02 for overnight shipping. Going with OEM Brembos made most sense to me given time constraints and I only needed calipers.

The fender liners are doing much better with 7mm spacers. There is still some rubbing on the upper tape but zero rubbing on the lower part where the fastener is. The upper part can probably be heated up and pushed in flat as there is nothing behind the liner in that spot.

Was changing wheels for another track event and noticed that one of the Whiteline diff bushings (KDT924) had rubber that twisted! The rubber in the other bushing was also loose in the metal collar. Ordered STi bushings and did a temporary fix on the twisted rubber....

STi bushings ST41322AS010 & ST41322AS000 arrived and I had them installed by the Atlanta Speed Company. Glad I did as they had some trouble with installation as evidenced by a slightly chewed metal collar.... Also used that opportunity to have the transmission fluid changed.
