Longevity is relative to the abuse the car receives...
I'm @ 37K and already had to replace the transmission, an ignition coil, the dash, and battery, but my car sees a lot of track abuse, and it's modded. |

While type of usage has something to do with longevity, I would argue maintenance is significantly more important. I've had four cars over the last 15 years including the current BRZ. The previous three cars had more than 100 track days on them and a total of 575,000 miles. I don't drive like a grandma, but am meticulous about maintenance. People are always surprised how many miles my cars have on them after seeing and driving them.
