Did not crash on the work commute. Did have to dodge some rocks headed my way compliments of a dump truck on the highway, though. My windshield is less than a month old and already has a few chips thanks to some kicked rocks on my recent road trip.

I do not mess around with those. I will stay way away from them. And if somebody's Winnebago seems to be dripping some sort of mystery liquid, I get away. I'm not going to assume that's water off the A/C condenser and be unpleasantly surprised later.

I drove my FR-S up to the Taco Bus to get some Mexican carry out this evening.

The Taco Bus sits on a small lot with limited parking right in front of it, where there are a few picnic tables. The place was crowded, but I managed to squeeze into a tight parking space.

As I roared up, lots of cute Mexican girls were eyeballing me and my FR-S.

Now, as I mentioned, the parking space was tight, so when I went to get out my foot kind of got stuck against the door and I did my flippity flop combat roll against my car type of exit.

No longer were the girls impressed but they did clear a path for me as I wobbled up to the bus door. Ya, know, even though the bus door has hand rails on each side … the steps are tall and they sort of curve. People cheered me on as I proceeded to the back of the bus to order.

There are gas pumps right behind the parking spots …. but fortunately, there wasn't anybody at the pumps when I backed out ….. so, I did not crash ….

Forgot I rotated the Tires, (Drive Tires to the Front), made a sharp turn at speed, started Plowing towards a curb, pedaled around the turn, barely missed said curb. Checked my pants.....

9000km of ownership since late march, and I did my first clutch drop from 5000RPM.
The first time properly putting the car sideways while making a left turn.

Ended with a massive smile, I did not crash.

Passing transport truck on highway.
Tire on trailer blew (again)
Loud noise and sidewall of tire flew past my front bumper.
I may have peed a little but held steady contrary to all my reflexes screaming to swerve.
Did not crash.
This time.
Will wait and see what happens next time.
